Dominikanske Republik Countryside Safari Tour fra Punta Cana

This was such a great experience. We got picked up right at our hotel and all of the cultural experiences grouped into this one tour was well worth the price. Our guide was fantastic, funny, and full of so much information.

I would have gladly sacrificed half the time spent in the cigar shop, and sampling coffee, chocolate and Mamawana, for more time horseback. While the promise of a beach visit was kept, getting in the water was not possible - it was a surfing beach. Best part of the tour was virtually limitless Cuba Libre's.

Just amazing!!! Go it is so worth the money and time well spent!

The tour was amazing. The tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable. The tour guide and the bus driver Junior were great. They made the cultural experience come alive. I highly recommend this tour .

This tour was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the route and all of the stops. Maria's house was very interesting. She was friendly and very pleasant. Planning to return back in 2017 and will take this tour again.

THIS is the tour everyone should take get a taste coffee, chocolate, pineapple, sugar cane..etc plus nice lunch. See the countryside, and then get on your knees for all you may take for granted. This is the only tour we took, and I'll always have lasting memories!!! Great tour guide!!!

wow, truly an amazing experience and our tour guide Alex delighted us with great information throughout the whole tour. Alex also pretty funny and made everyone laugh so that was a plus as well. The your itself was amazing, drove around the neighborhood, went to eat and then got to visit Maria's house where we got to see how to make cocoa and taste it and as well other stuff.

Sammy was great and the tour was informative. Seeing beyond the tourists attractions and experiencing the culture was worth every cent. I highly recommend it....and I went alone, but those on the buss made me feel like family!

Our guide J.J. was very informative and kept us laughing. We got to see how sugar cane juice is extracted, cigars are rolled, and we took a ride across the coffee plantation on horseback. Lunch was great. Real Dominican food. At Maria's House we explored how many dominican products are made and got to taste everything , yum!

This was a great tour at a very reasonable rate. We made the mistake by not booking ahead of time so options were limited at the price point we were looking for. Some companies could not guarantee pick up from the hotel by the next morning. I was able to call the customer service number and the young lady that booked me actually took the time to call and speak with a live person that could accommodate us on such short notice, thus this is how we ended up going with Bavaro Runners. This tour was a great learning experience if you are truly interested in learning about the D.R culture and land. We enjoyed Casa de Maria, horse back riding, sugar cane tour, demonstration on making cigars, and lunch was great. I wish we had more time on Macow Beach without local's selling souvenirs It was nice to cool down at the calm beach after being on the hot bus and under the sun all day. The tour guides we very nice and knowledgeable. They also provide cold bottled water which was a plus. The only reason I rated this a 4 was because there was conveniently an opportunity for a sales pitch after every stop. I guess this is expected when traveling and ok if you are interested in making purchases, plus there was no pressure what so ever to buy...I would, and have already recommended this excursion when traveling to the D.R. FYI this is an all day excursion, bring plenty of insect repellent and sunblock. Wear cool/comfy clothes and shoes. We brought extra water just incase, but wished we had packed extra batteries for phone and camera.
