Cecilia did a fine job. We enjoyed Versailles but wished for more time in the gardens of Versailles. The lunch was at a charming location! Loved Giverny especially the water gardens.

This was an exceptional day of touring with a guide that provided a wealth of historical information.

Versailles was terrific and Monet’s garden was unbelievable. I feltlike I had stepped directly into an impressionist painting! An extra - unexpected - bonus was the gourmet meal served at the Moulin de Fourges Restaurant surrounded by the besutiful French countryside.

The air conditioning in the van broke down and it was the hottest day in Paris. Drove down the highway with the windows rolled down.

I loved this tour only because I had the chance to visit two beautiful places! It really is worth it. It was very crowded in July but still nice to visit. I loved the lunch in French countryside it was magical, like a storybook scene.

Our tourguide was very informative but lacked warmth. He was dry rude and impatient. Everytime someone had a question he would answer like it was a dumb question to ask in the first place. He did not interact with the group whatsoever. Luckily my group was super friendly so we all got along and had a wonderful time!

Pamela was an excellent and charming tour guide and a a good driver. I would highly recommend a small tour as its much nicer and easier to follow the guide. Skipping the line makes a big difference and the queues in both places are very long if you don't have this option.

We chose the small group day trip because we wanted the more personalized tour to these wonderful places. Our guide, Christophe, clearly wished to be doing something other than guiding the three of us and another couple to these places. He was rather uncommunicative throughout except for the palace tour where he had to accompany us and inform us about the rooms. Otherwise we were on our own, and would have been ill-prepared if we had not already seen or informed ourselves of the history, art, significance of what we were to see. Some supposed incident caused delay at Versailles so we had to forego some of the sites in Giverny which were described by Viator as included. The day prior a strike closed D'Orsay and the Pomidou Center, so expect such in France, I guess. Overall the experience was disappointing as we had brought our 13 y.o. granddaughter who would have benefitted from discourse and information from a friendly, enthusiastic guide. Disappointed as we were with the guide, I would recommend either going on one's own via rail, or a large tour bus. Expectations about small group tours include having a guide who informs, prepares, and ensures understanding and not just drives in mostly silence, and dumps us at Giverny, at lunch, gives us a short tour through Hall of Mirrors and King's bedroom at Versailles, and dumps us again to wander the gardens. Thank goodness the other couple who joined us were lovely folks who were interesting and convivial.

One of the most fantastic trips we have ever taken. Giverny was kissed by God. In my opinion this is a must see. Versailles was equally as spectacular, although a bit difficult to get in - although our group had tickets with a specific time the gate monitors were not very compliant to the time. The lunch place is beautiful, but the food was sorry just need to say it inedible - boiled chicken or some sort of mackerel this is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating. They would do better with a simple picnic sandwich and a glass of sparkling water or soda. Other than the food stop, the trip was simply magical!

The visit to Versailles was OK, there were soo many chinese tourists when we visited thus it was a bit hard to navigate the rooms comfortably, but a walk in the gardens was relaxing. The best part of this tour was the trip to Giverny, the lunch was great and the restaurant were we ate was very nice and cozy. We were just a group of 5pax thus it was easy for our tour guide Stephanie to assemble us and she was able to give us a more comprehensive intro about the palace, monet's garden and other things we saw along the way. We were lucky we were still able to visit Monet's garden as it was the last it was opened for the year, his garden and house was simply amazing, the flowers were glorious. Glad we booked this tour.
