The bus tour takes the route described unless traffic prohibits easy movement of the bus in the city. There is standing room most of the time on the buses, except when multiple buses are full and bypass stops on the tour. The cool air on the open top of the bus is excellent during hot days, while the inside of the bus downstairs, where we spent most of yesterday, is a bit like being in hell. There are vents which taunt you with the potential of AC, only to be told that it does not work, no matter how many times you open and close them. The company does provide manual cooling material in the form of brochures. They also do provide earbuds so that you can hear the same things over and over again. Several buses bypassed the very angry mob near stop 4 yesterday which was told repeatedly that bus doesn't work, this bus is off-duty, or this bus is full. There are many ways to see Paris, and I highly recommend any of them as an alternative to Big Bus including Ubr, Open Tours, Metro, Taxis, mopeds, electric scooters, and maybe even a burro. Do NOT book this bus tour. I know they will likely hide this review, but if it will save at least one person from the torture we endured during our trip, it will be worth it.
