I booked this airport transfer 24 hours before our arrival, not knowing if a driver would be waiting for us at the airport. Then we arrived an hour early and of course there was no driver, so I called the company. They told me our driver would be with us in 15 minutes, and we were pleasantly surprised when he did arrive in that time. The driver was nice and our trip to central London was smooth. We were really satisfied with the service. Would book again.
Our flight was late arriving. A call to the company number and our driver arrived within ten minutes. Upon arriving at our flat we had some difficulty with our check-in. He agreed to stay with us until we could secure the flat. He went above and beyond his duties to help us. Highly recommend.
So disappointed! Complete waste of money and time. Don't bother with this company. We arrived at Luton Airport on time. Our driver was no where to be seen. We called the customer service number provided after 20 mins of waiting to be told the driver was 10 minutes away, no apology. A further 15 minutes went by and our driver appears, no apology or explanation for late arrival. He then makes my husband and I push our heavy luggage through the airport terminal out to the car park, up in the lifts following him so that he can pay for the car parking fee. We then push our luggage back into the lifts and follow him to his car parking level. He then so kindly, suggests we wait for him whilst he goes to get the car and will drive it up to the lifts area and to wait for him. No apology. We wait, another 10 minutes and the car arrives, dirty! Looks as though its his private car, I've caught Ubers in cleaner condition. We then make the our way to London City, a long drive, about 1.30 hours, not one word was spoken. Rude. We arrive at our hotel, and the driver informs us that there is no parking available at the front of the hotel at that moment and that he would let us out across the road. We then push our luggage across the busy road to our hotel. Please don't bother with this company. Catch the bus shuttle or even a London cab, same money and from experience, much friendly service.
Our plane arrived on time but it took a very long time to go through customs. There is a waiting hall where your driver has your name on a sign. We looked and looked and finally had to call for assistance. When we finally found the person in charge we were told they were calling the driver. We were instructed to wait with some other couples who had been there 45 mins waiting for their pick-up. The instructions on my printed copy said we would have to call if the delay was over an hour and a half. It took an additional 40 minutes for our driver to arrive because he had picked up another customer. I had my phone with me and could have easily been reached as to why there was a delay. Our driver finally arrived and we went to the garage and to his car to find that the air conditioning was not working and it was 90 degrees in London that day. The driver was pleasant and got us to our hotel but since we had pre-paid almost 100 for our pick up I assumed we would get a van like was shown in the photo. Needless to say we took a cab from the hotel back to the airport for our return flight and we only paid 69. With that in mind I will only be using a cab for transport to and from the airport when we visit London again.
This was an unpleasant experience. We did not have the driver in the arrival hall. After waiting for an half hour, we called the company someone very bored apparently picked the phone after 10 rings and were informed that the driver was on the way. After another half plus hour, we were told the driver was at the airport. Apparently the company has some cars at the airport but, this particular driver had no idea where these were parked. We kept riding elevators from one floor to another floor of parking garage. Finally, a car was located and we were on our way. The driver was not able to get around traffic and busy streets as clearly he was not familiar with the streets.
The driver was late and complained about the need to pick us up from inside the airport. Apparently, he did not read the voucher information that stated where the driver would be meeting us or ever picked anyone up from Terminal 5. The driver picked us up in his personal car - an Uber would have a better option. The driver was unfamiliar with Central London and needed to pull off twice for directions. We stayed at an iconic hotel that has been at the same location for over a century and the driver just could not find it and keep asking me where it was. Too stressful after a long day of traveling.
Mixed feelings about this company. Booked both for arrival and departure transportation. When we got to the designated place to meet the driver, we could not find him. I called the company, very hard to understand the woman on the other end due to heavy accent. She said he would be there in 10 to 15 minutes and stay where we were. Did as instructed. After 15 minutes we called again, this time we were told the driver had been waiting there for us all along,two stores down! We went to find the driver, and he was there lounging back against the wall. I know we had positively already looked there when we first got to the hall. And why weren't we called?? After that, the drive to our hotel was uneventful.
Fortunately our departure transfer was seamless and pleasant. Driver was actually a bit early and notified the front desk to let us know he was there when we were ready.
