From September 1 - June 30 (Winter):
Leave Figueres and head to the beautiful coastal village of Cadaqués. Famous for its white washed Mediterranean houses, narrow shady streets, and sandy bay, this is one of the most picturesque villages on the Costa Brava. But what really stands out for many people is the dramatic drive there, which offers some of the best views in the whole of Catalunya. This is the perfect place for lunch. In the afternoon we will travel just a few minutes up the coast to the even smaller village of Port Lligat, the place where Dalí sought the peace and quiet that truly inspired him and where he built his house. Finally, we will move on to Cap de Creus, the most easterly point of mainland Spain and one of the most starkly beautiful coastal landscapes in the whole of the country.
From July 1 – August 31 (Summer):
Go to another of Dalí’s creations, Pubol Castle in the village of the same name. As well as visiting the castle, there are ample opportunities to eat in a traditional Catalan restaurant. In mid afternoon, your tour will continue to Palamos: one of those rare hidden corners you can still find on the Costa Brava. Dalí visited this region several times in the 1930s, especially a place called Mas Juny, owned by his friend Josep Sert, a famous Catalan painter of the time.
Please note: Dali House will be closed from the 1st of January to the 4th of January and from the 11th of January until the 11th of February. It is still possible to see the house from the outside.

This became a very nice day to my husband, our son and me. We enjoyed the Dali- trip very much. The drive was in a nice van at Antonio was a very good driver
Our guide Laura was very, very charming, she told some very interesting things about Dali and Gala and things we passed on our way in a very personal and vivid way and she made everything in the trip work on time. Just a small word of advice Laura: Look back and see that you have the whole group following and wait for everybody to join up before you give information. I am sure you repeated important information, but the guests that cannot quite follow your pace will be uncertain if they missed something.
The museum in Figueres was amazing and we could have spent more time there. We didnt even have time to see the jewelry museum that was included. Maybe we could have had half an hour more at the museum and lunch somewhere in Figueres
It was a great tour through some beautiful mountains with lovely views. The lunch in Cadaques was okay but also a little rushed. Mayby we could have just passed the lovely little town on our way to Port Lligat a place we would not have missed! It was a fantastic experience to visit Dali's House and get a small impression of his way of thinking and living - and it was well worth the trip and the and the extra payment.
